How fortunate for the descendants of John William Davis and Ratha Adams that their families have cared enough to publish their history and continue to hold reunions. My own connection to this family is thru William Morlan (1821-1878), my great-great-grandfather. William was the great-grandfather to Ratha; Ratha's grandmother was Mary Abigail Morlan (1842-1880). By the way, I've never been invited to any of the reunions hint hint. :-) Reunion articles have been very helpful in identifying family and their location.
