Charles Joseph Abbott, Sonorman, Second Class is the focus of today's Military Monday. "Charlie Joe" was honorably discharged from the U. S. Naval Receiving Station, Seattle, Washington on the 28th day of November 1946. I imagine that was quite a day of Thanksgiving for my cousin, Chuck, as well as his parents!
