Today's Military Monday will be a double header! Last year when I retired I took a little genealogy road trip to the Midwest Genealogy Center, part of the Mid-Continent Public Library in Independence, Missouri. To prepare for a visit to the Midwest Genealogy Center, be sure and check out the many guides they offer. This is the guide to their military resources (it downloads a pdf) as well as their guide to Military Records on Microfilm (also downloads a pdf).
Don't assume they records they have are only for the Midwest.
