While researching in Saint Paul, Howard County, Nebraska, I came across this marriage announcement from 'The Phonograph' newspaper. This is the marriage of Robert Morris and Mary Mundorf.
Transcription: "On Tuesday, May 10th, 1927 at Emporia, Kansas occurred the marriage of Robert Morris and Miss Mary Mundorf both of this place. The wedding ceremony was performed by Reverend Father Hennessey, pastor of the Catholic Church of that city. The bridal couple were accompanied by Tony Janeleuwicz of Loup City, and Miss Josephine Nosal, of this place.
The young couple have resided here for a number of years. The groom is the son of Mrs. Hannah Morris and at the present time he is operating the George Pyne farm, northeast of this city, where he has taken his bride and where they will make their future home. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Mundorf and she has resided in our midst for several years. She is a ladylike young woman and there is no doubt but what she will be a good companion for the bright young man who selected her for his helpmate and life companion.
The Phonograph desires to extend its few words of congratulations and best wishes to the happy young couple on this important event in their lives and we hope they will be happy, contented and prosperous all the days of their lives."
